It depends on what state you are in.

Some states (like MA) require a physical inspection of the vehicle.

Regarding the good student discount, they’ll probably ask you to make your transcript in to them.

Hi there, I have 5 horses and each one is insured, If you buy a horse that has insurance already then you will still have to insure it yourself as the previous owner will not keep paying to insure your horse!!
My miniature shetland costs about £6 a month to insure, my falabellas are about £10 a month as they are insured for breeding, Welsh is about £6 a month and my 17.2 dressage horse is about £20 a month. The costs vary depending on what you use your horse for but in the event of colic or a bad injusy that requires surgery it is fully worth it. Most insurance policies have an excess that you would have to pay in the event of a claim, I have to pay the first £200 then they cover the rest, but if you have to pay for surgery this could go into thousands!
I use Petplan equine who I find to be very good as they pay out without a fuss.

It all depends on how much you buy the horse for and what type of insurance for example full or mortality… also it varies for each insurance provider and area… you can look in the phone book or online for a local one.

I know Liberty Mutual used to not run credit scores, but that was a few years ago. Check and see if they still don’t.
Nearly all companies now use some kind of credit score for a determining factor.

whether you’re against it or not, it’s a factor. and sorry, i dont know of ANY companies out there that don’t use it. i know about 99% use credit scores, so good luck finding the one or two that havent jumped on that wagon… yet.
